Obiano: Governor with a Human Side

The people's governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has made true his promise to always apply a  human side in the governance of the State. The governor who canceled all his appointments to pay condolence visit to the family of Okechukwu in Ochuche, Ogbaru Local Government stated, "part  of administration is to visit and sympathies with the bereaved".


The Okechukwu family recently lost 5 members at Onitsha while coming back from a wedding. The dead were announced to inlude Nwanyidi Okechukwu, Akwujeri Okechukwu and Ngozi Okechukwu.

Others are Sunday Okechukwu and Ifeoma Okechukwu.

The family thanked Gov Obiano for doing the "unimaginable" by visiting them in such a remote place without invitation. Also in his remarks, the traditional ruler of Ochuche, Igwe Ogiliga expressed surprises at the governor's visit and urged every leader to emulate him.
