Leading By Example

Improper discarding of garbage and rubbish has caused pollution in our cities thereby endangering our lives and the lives of our children. We must all be conscious of our environment and stop throwing waste into the gutters or spaces beside our shops. If you see anyone doing that, stop him! Anambra must be sanitized". - Gov Obiano

Obiano Moves to Enforce City Master-plan in Anambra; Pulls Down Illegal Structures

The Governor of Anambra State, Chief Willie Obiano has made a bold move to halt the spate of indiscriminate erection of buildings in the state, ordering that some structures cited in unauthorized places in the 3-3 Area of Onitsha be pulled down at the weekend. Some illegal structures and perimeter fences built on government land, very close to the road were affected in the exercise.

War Against Tresspassers

Chief Willie Obiano warns against encroachment into government reserved spaces as he evacuates trespassers at Upper Iweka Botanical Garden. The garden was recently encroached on by a certain transport company at Onitsha. Lets keep Anambra clean and civilized.
