The Management of the
Anambra Broadcasting Service and Support to National Malaria Programme (SuNMaP)
have signed a ten-month commercial broadcasting partnership agreement on Monday
in Awka, Anambra State
By the agreement, ABS will
promote SuNMaP’s Jingles and also create awareness on malaria prevention and
control through special programmes.
The agreement ends July,
2015.
He expressed hope that the
partnership will yield the desired result.
The Managing Director/CEO,
Anambra Broadcasting Service, Mr. Uche Nworah pledged full compliance with the
terms of the agreement.
He thanked SuNMap and DFID
for partnering with ABS in the fight against malaria.
Mr. Nworah also said that
discussions with SuNMap have begun in other areas of mutual and beneficial
relationship.
The agreement is just one
of the series of repositioning activities being undertaken by the new
management team at ABS with a view to leveraging the stations wide reach and
coverage of Anambra State.
Some members of the ABS
staff are currently undergoing capacity building training programmes in Lagos.
