Group commends Obiano for crime reduction in Anambra State

Kinsmen of Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra State under the auspices of the state chapter of Aguleri Indigenous Traders Association (AITAN), have given kudos to the governor for crime reduction in the state.

The group, during its meeting in Aguleri yesterday said it was proud of the governor because of what it called, “water-tight security measures” in the state.

It also gave Governor Obiano thumbs-up for the successes recorded in sanitation and agriculture, which had been revolutionalised, to engage thousands of unemployed youths.

The group noted that incessant cases of kidnapping, armed robbery and other violent crimes had drastically reduced due to stringent security measures in the state and pledged its unalloyed support for Governor Obiano’s administration.

It stated that following the Appeal Court’s judgment that upheld Obiano’s election, the governor should concentrate on governance to enable him deliver democratic dividends to the people of the state. It charged indigenes and residents of Anambra State to support government’s policies and programmes in order to move the state forward.
